Birthday card madness part 1

March, the busiest month of the year when it comes to birthdays among my friends and family. I feel I’ve started strong this year by making two cards and it’s still February! Not sure I’ll use the second card but it’s always good to have some backup cards.

For the first card I followed this week’s mojo monday challenge #333

For the second card I followed the sketch from freshly made sketches #124

Batman birthday card

My youngest cousin turns 3 today and he’s a big batman fan so I decided to make him a themed card

I used my sizzix to cut out two oval shapes, one yellow and one black. Then I cut out the bat by hand and adhered it on the yellow piece. I stamped some dots on the gray background and smudged some gold glimmer mist over the badge to make it shine.

I used this week’s sketch from Freshly made sketches and the pink gem challenge #111; for the boys

Ordered birthday card

A friend of mine asked me to make her a birthday card for a friend and here’s what she got!

I used paper from first edition paper pads, I’ll  have to look up the names later on. The pink paper is sprayed with mists, pink and pearl. The stamp is from Kenny K and was colored with promarkers, flexmarkers and stickles.

Another wedding card

As I looked through my stash of stamps the other day I came across this forgotten stamp and decided to make another wedding card.

Birthday card

I woke up today, still in the mood for crafting and I realized I didn’t’t have time to spend another day in my closet. So this was a quick card made while waiting for my dishes to dry. Yes, I’m too lazy to use a towel. Made for the Mojo monday challenge #279
