Baby album

I made an album for my niece and her parents to put pictures in. It was supposed to be a christening/name giving gift but they got it a bit earlier since I didn’t want them to forget to take pictures and write down memories each month. It’s my first big album, with 20 12×12 pages. I mostly used the collection Let’s polka, mon amie by Lawnfawn and some other pieces that matched the colors in the collection.

Anna 55

Another aunt of mine celebrated her birthday this year, she turned 55! I made this card for her after spending some time on pinterest looking for inspiration!

Dad 54

My dad turned 54 this year and he got this card on his birthday. My dad used to work as a card mechanic and he drove a car like this one when I was a baby, so it was fun being able to make a card that personal for him! The patterned papers are from the Dapper Dan collection by Glitz.

Lukas 4

My youngest cousin turns 4 tomorrow and I was invited to a birthday party today. I made him this card to go with the gift and he liked it (maybe a superhero card would have been more interesting, but I had no inspiration for that yesterday ;-) )

My brother’s girlfriend got a quick look at the card and said “What a cute rhino!” and Lukas quickly replied with “It’s a hippo!” and then he opened the card and asked my mum to read the inside. He usually just rip off the wrapping and ignore the cards so I was very surprised that he wanted to hear the inside too! I’ll have to write something nice next time I think.

Birthday cards

I decided to work on my card stash this weekend and made two masculine cards using one of my favorite papers from the dapper dan collection.

For this card I was inspired by this week’s Retro sketch challenge #138

Wedding card

My mom was invited to a wedding and asked me to make a card for the happy couple. I used my favourite wedding stamp from weestamps
